The trainer and facilitator for this course is Cambridge University educated, and long term Yogyakarta resident, Adrian B. Coen B.Ed, Dip TEFL, Dip TESP.Adrian has spent much of the last 19 years working in Indonesia in the NGO sector as a volunteer, a consultant, a trainer, a materials designer, a facilitator, a recruiter, a writer and as a translator and interpreter. He is also a teacher and a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at UGM.
He has provided capacity building support and other kinds of assistance and training to the private sector and also to international organisations including Oxfam, VSO, IRD, CUSO, Save The Children, Arbeiter Samariter Bund Deutschland (ASB) and JRS.
He has worked with national or local organisations, including World Education Indonesia, ICRC, YAKKUM, World Vision Indonesia, Solidaritas Perempuan Kinasih, Combine Resources Institution.
He has also worked in the governmental sector with a range of organisations including JICA, GTZ, USAID, and DIKNAS.
